Summers are usually accompanied by moist humid weather which is sure to increase one’s discomfort. However, with the wide range Home Cooling Systems available, you can have your worries at bay.
The primary cooling system for any home may usually include one of these cooling systems-Air Conditioners, Evaporation Coolers or Heat Pumps.
Evaporation Coolers
Evaporation Coolers or better known as Dessert Coolers, are devices which make use of simple evaporation of water in air for cooling. These coolers draw in air through a water mist to cool and moisturize the air. The evaporation coolers are especially suited for hot and humid climates where there is more scope for evaporation. These evaporation coolers may be of three different types:
• Direct Evaporation Coolers
• Indirect Evaporation Coolers
• Two-stage Evaporation Coolers
Heat Pumps:
Heat Pumps are basically heat engines operating in reverse. A heat pump normally refers to a vapor-compressing refrigeration device that includes reversing valves and heat exchangers so as to reverse the flow of the heat. A heat pump is quite similar to an air conditioner containing a valve that lets it switch between air conditioner and heater.
Air Conditioner:
One of the most commonly used home cooling systems is the air conditioner. An air conditioner is an appliance or mechanism designed to extract heat from an area using a refrigeration cycle. Air conditioning normally refers to the method of cooling and dehumidification of indoor air for extreme thermal comfort. These air conditioners work by drawing warm air over cooler coils.
