In today’s world of hygiene and health care, people believe in the saying that ‘prevention is better than cure’. Thus, if one needs to keep safe from water borne diseases then they need to have water filtration systems installed in their homes.
There are different kinds of water filtering systems available from which you can choose the best for yourself. Some of the common Home water Filtration Systems include:
Pitcher Filters: - These are a great choice for occasional needs of water. You just need to add water to the top portion of the jug and the water will automatically flow through an internal filter into the main canister. The process may sometimes take a little longer time. There are several varieties of pitchers available like Brita pitchers, Pur Ultimate Pitchers and Culligan Designer Filter Pitchers.
Faucet Mounted Filters: - The ability of faucet mounted filters to allow filtration straight from the tap makes it one of the most used home filters. Many of the other models of this type can also divert the water from the filter so that the filter is not wasted when you simply want regular water for purposes like washing dishes, etc. Another factor which adds to the usability of these filters is that they are extremely small and handy.
Under the Sink Filters: - These filters are very much similar to the faucet mounted filters in that they only service single sink in the house. However, the difference occurs in the fact that these filters are installed under the sink and usually come with a dedicated faucet or tap. In comparison to the other filters, the under the sink filters are usually larger and tend to last longer.
